1. Fit and suitability
It is the dog owner's responsibility to ensure that a dog accessory is suitable for their dog, fits correctly and does not cause discomfort. Every dog is different, and dogs of the same breed may require different sizes.
If you are unsure which size to choose, please contact us at info@lalouvie.com. We are happy to help you choose the right size. However, the owner remains responsible for checking that the accessory fits correctly.
2. Safety and wear and tear
Dog accessories are subject to wear and tear. Please check the condition of the product before use and regularly thereafter. Look for signs of damage, loose parts, and worn seams or fastenings.
Do not continue using a product if it is damaged or no longer appears safe. Do not leave your dog unattended while wearing or using accessories.
3. Use of our products
Our accessories are intended to be used for their designed purpose. Their lifespan may be reduced by excessive pulling, biting, scratching or other intensive use.
Choose a product that is appropriate for your dog's size, strength and behaviour. Do not use an accessory for a purpose for which it was not designed.
La Louvie is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, insufficient supervision, improper maintenance or normal wear and tear, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Damage and warranty
Damage caused by a dog biting, scratching or otherwise misusing a product does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement.
This does not affect the consumer's statutory rights. If a product is defective upon arrival or does not conform to the contract, the applicable statutory rights and warranty rules continue to apply.
5. Care and maintenance
Always follow the care instructions provided with the product. If no specific instructions are available, we recommend cleaning the product gently by hand and avoiding unnecessary exposure to heat or harsh cleaning products.
6. Liability
La Louvie cannot be held liable for damage arising from the improper use of products, to the extent that exclusion of liability is permitted by law.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so is not legally permitted.
7. Changes
La Louvie reserves the right to amend this disclaimer when necessary. The latest version will be published on our website.
